I zealously fight to keep my clients out of bankruptcy. As soon as I'm retained, I immediately benefit my clients by using fair debt collection procedures to stop harassing and embarrassing creditors calls. In many cases I can make deals with creditors at 10 to 30 cents on the dollar. I can also benefit clients by releasing wage garnishments, bank levies, liens, and by stopping seizures. In addition I help clients to improve their credit so that they can get the best rates on mortgages, consumer loans, and credit cards. Sometimes, however, filing bankruptcy may be the only solution. I treat my bankruptcy clients with respect and dignity. I always advise clients before filing bankruptcy of the various options they may have, the debts (including certain taxes!) which can be discharged or wiped out, and what the court procedures will be so that there are no surprises. Moreover, I fight for my clients to keep their assets from being taken from them in bankruptcy. |
